In 1924, Scottish painter Gordon Coutts built the Moroccan villa that now serves as Korakia Pensione's main building. Coutts named his retreat Dar Marroc, and incorporated architectural features that would evoke memories of his life painting in Tangier.

Our wedding ceremony will take place in the courtyard of this historic home that once played host to Coutts' artist, musician and actor friends. It's said even Winston Churchill once wielded a paintbrush here.

Across Patencio Road, silent film star J. Carol Naish built the Mediterranean villa, a 1933 property reminiscent of Southern Europe and Northern Africa next to the Orchard House, originally constructed in 1918. Here, we'll celebrate with friends and family over dinner, drinks and dancing.
